Jamie High Named Assistant AD & Head Women's Basketball and Volleyball Coach
Bemidji, MN - Oak Hills Athletics is happy to welcome Jamie High on staff as the new Assistant Athletic Director and Head Coach of the Women's Volleyball and Basketball programs.
Jamie High will enter her first year at Oak Hills as Assistant Athletic Director & Head Women's Basketball and Volleyball Coach. She comes with 7 years of AAU coaching experience and many accolades from her playing days at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN.
At North Central, Jamie was a 4-year starter and 3-year captain of the Women's basketball team. She finished her career as the school's all-time leader in points, defensive rebounds, and blocks. High also finished her career at NCU in the top 5 in steals, assists, free throw percentage, and total rebounds. She was named to the NCCAA All-Region team all 4 years and was named an NCCAA All-American as a Junior. Jamie also received accolades from the UMAC Conference and was named to the UMAC All-Conference team her Junior season and All-Defense team for her Senior year. High was also a standout on the Volleyball team as a Ram for 2 seasons and was named to the NCCAA 1st team All-Region in 2013 and was a UMAC Honorable Mention that same year.
Before coming to Oak Hills, Jamie was an Assistant Coach at Sunrise Christian Academy for the 2016-2017 season for both Girl's Basketball and Volleyball. She has since been a coach for both Crossfire and the MN Freeze AAU programs.
